Our Mission
At Writing Well, we specialise in bringing people together who are passionate about writing and discovering their true congruent voice. We aim to foster a supportive and empowering environment for writers to share their work and also give back to their peers through learning constructive feedback and acknowledgment. Join us in Lincolnshire and online, for a fulfilling experience of creativity and connection.

Writing Well was seeded, grown and developed by Paula Thwaite in May 2024, following her addressing the importance and value of personal/professional acknowledgement through sharing the written word and giving/receiving of constructive feedback from both one-to-one and group connections.
"I have watched people's eye's light up; their breathing calm; the tone of their skin change; and their whole posture alter at being acknowledged and given space to be themselves. This is so simple, yet so valuable. Acknowledgment can mean everything to a person." P. Thwaite.

Following a life-changing accident in 2023, Paula decided to use her experience of 4 months debilitating isolation as a springboard to help others, both personally and professionally through the written word.
Shortly after learning to walk again, and with her fathers' legacy, Paula brought Wrting Well to.life. It was going to be a new fantastic adventure. And, through hard work, passion, persistence, pain, and determination, Wrting Well began to grow in popularity throughout the Lincolnshire community. The journey continues...
